No team in NFL history has a had a worse off season than the New Orleans Saints. Last month in March, the Saints were under investigation for implementing a bounty program as an incentive for the defensive players to make big plays. Former Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams is the person that implemented the bounty program from 2009 during the Saints Superbowl run, until this past NFL season of 2011-2012. Several top Saints coaches and front office personnel knew that such a program was going on, and they did not try to stop it from happening. Head Coach Sean Peyton, Assistant Coach Joe Vitt, and General Manager Mickey Loomis knew about the bounty program but did nothing to stop it.
